PESTC Short Courses 2010 - SEMESTER ONE

Professional Training Courses for the Electricity Supply Industry

Queensland University of Technology has conducted short course training programs for electricity supply engineers since 1993. These courses have been specifically designed to provide the underpinning skills and knowledge that have been identified in the competency standards for electricity supply engineers which were developed by the Queensland electricity supply industry and Queensland University of Technology.

These training modules are particularly valuable in the fast-tracking, re-skilling and up-skilling of personnel in an industry that is undergoing continual change.

Course units are presented by experienced senior engineers from industry as well as QUT staff. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 20 students.

Course Costs

$1300 per unit GST inc.
Course costs are in Australian Dollars.
* Payment must be received PRIOR to the start of the course. 

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Course Manager, either by mail, fax or email (cpe@qut.edu.au)

Cancellations received prior to two weeks before the start of a course (ie. 10 business days) will be refunded less $100 (please note if you have not paid you will still be invoiced this amount). No registration refunds will be made after this date (ie. inside two weeks prior to a course start date).

Cancellations received within two weeks prior to a start date will be charged the full fee (even if payment has not already been received).

1. Register via the online registration link above (have your credit card ready if you are paying online).
2. A registration email will automatically be sent back (to the email address nominated on the online registration form).

Registration can be paid for by credit card at the time of registration, cheque or EFT/Direct Debit. Fee-Help and HECS are not available for Continuing Professional Education Courses.

REGISTRATION FOR EE82 GRADUATE CERTIFICATE STUDENTS

Please select modules from the above schedule.  Please email your unit selections to bee.enquiries@qut.edu.au and include the words “EE82 Enrolment” in the subject line. Faculty staff will manually process these enrolments in bulk. Once this processing is complete, all students will be able to view their enrolments via QUT Virtual. Please note, EE82 students must NOT register through the CPE Registration Site - all enrolment requests are to be forwarded to BEE.

Additional Information
