CCNA Exploration 1/2 Network Fundamentals & Routing Protocols

= Practical days and time : Tuesday 5:30-7:30PM (no prac in the first week)

= Academic Credits: 12 cps*

2. Course Description:

The Cisco CCNA Exploration curriculum provides a comprehensive overview of networking; from fundamentals to advanced applications and services. It is based on a top-down approach to networking that is popular in many colleges and universities. This course emphasizes theoretical concepts and practical application, while providing opportunities for students to gain the skills and hands-on experience needed to design, install, operate, and maintain networks in small-to-medium businesses, as well as enterprise and service provider environments.

3. CCNA Exploration Description

CCNA Exploration offers in-depth theory, challenging labs, and a detailed overview of protocol operations. It is designed for students with problem-solving and analytical skills, such as degree candidates in engineering, math, or science, or for working professionals who would like to advance their careers or gain certification.

The CCNA Exploration 1/2 curriculum is composed of two courses:
- Network Fundamentals
- Routing Protocols and Concepts

Course Costs

CCNA Exploration 1 / 2 Network Fundamentals & Routing Protocols - $2000

Costs include GST and access to course outlines, on-line curriculum and class system. Upon registration, an invoice will automatically be sent to your email address. The student is responsible for ensuring payment of the unit invoice is finalised (via your organisation or other).

Registration can be paid for by Credit card at the time of registration, cheque or EFT/Direct Debit.

Fee-Help and HECS are not available for Continuing Professional Education Courses.

1. Register via the online registration link above (have your credit card ready if you are paying online).
2. A registration email will automatically be sent back (to the email address nominated on the online registration form). An invoice will be attached to the email.
3. Payment must be finalised prior to the course start date.
4. The Course Convenor will send any further information about the Course.

Cancellation

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Course Manager, either by mail, facsimile or email (carley.chapman@qut.edu.au).

Cancellation / Substitution Policy

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Course Manager, either by mail, facsimile or email (carley.chapman@qut.edu.au). Cancellations received prior to 25 February 2008 will be refunded less $100. No registration refunds will be made after COB 25 February 2008. Cancellations received after COB 25 February 2008 will be charged the full fee (even if payment has not already been received).

QUT reserves the right to cancel a course, change dates, location or fees.  You will be advised if your course is cancelled for any reason and offered a place in an alternative course or a full refund of any fees paid.  QUT is not responsible for expenses incurred by a participant if a course is cancelled.

Substitutions are accepted and must be advised in writing prior to the start of the course.
