IPC Swimming Online Classification Course 2008/09

Course Overview:

IPC Swimming offers the theoretical component of the Functional Classification System online through Queensland University of Technology (QUT). The course includes 16 modules of PowerPoint lectures accompanied by 7 explanatory videos. Course enrolment and payment is only through QUT and full payment is required before being able to commence the course. Once payment is received you will be allocated a username and password and sent a CD package. The course is required to be completed within six months of your username, password and CD being issued. Each module is followed by a multiple choice questionnaire which is completed online.

Course cost is AUS $400.00

Successful completion of this online course is a compulsory prerequisite before being considered for an IPC Swimming Classification seminar/workshop. This course is open to any individual interested in this area. However, to be accepted on IPC Swimming seminars and workshops the mandatory requirement is that potential medical classifiers are either medical doctors or physiotherapists and potential technical classifiers have coaching accreditation or be an accredited swim coach or trainer.

Registration:

Upon registration, an invoice will automatically be sent to your email address.

Registration can be paid for by credit card at the time of registration, cheque or EFT/Direct Debit.

Fee-Help and HECS are not available for Continuing Professional Education Courses.

2. A registration confirmation email and invoice will automatically be sent back (to the email address nominated on the online registration form).

3. The QUT Office of Continuing Professional Education will make contact with you to advise further course details after payment has been received.

Cancellation:

Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Course Manager, either by mail, facsimile or email (cpe@qut.edu.au).

If you withdraw prior to your Username, Password and CD-Rom being issued, no cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations received within two weeks of the Username, Password and CD-Rom being issued, will be refunded less $100 (please note if you have not paid you will still be invoiced for this amount). No registration refunds will be made after two weeks of your Username, Password and CD-Rom being issued.
